Day two of the 2026 Fall Fundraiser kicks off with Bishop William Johnson of the Diocese of Des Moines reading the campaign's theme passage, Matthew 9:35-38: "The harvest is abundant, but the laborers are few." Deacon Mark Campbell recaps a tremendous Day One (45 gifts totaling roughly $52,000) and invites listeners to keep the momentum going.

IN THIS EPISODE
- Triple Match Hour: A generous Challenger Club member tripled every $25/month gift this hour, turning it into $100/month. The goal was 12 new monthly "laborers" before 8 a.m., and listeners from across Iowa, plus Wisconsin and Illinois, answered the call.
- Dr. Stephanie Mohan, ICR board member, business underwriter, and convert to the Catholic faith, shares how friends first introduced her to Iowa Catholic Radio about five years ago. She explains why she now gives her time, talent, and treasure to the mission and why the programming is "never-ending" nourishment for her faith.
- A surprise on air: Stephanie's son, Deacon Luke Mohan, calls in from New York, where he's in his final year of seminary studies and finishing a thesis on the letters of St. Paul. He shares how Catholic radio fed his faith on long college commutes and helped shape his vocation, and how faith grew in his family as it spread from one member to the next.
- Julie Nelson asks the question Catholic Women Now hears most: what's it like for a mom when her son says he's thinking about the priesthood? Stephanie's answer for any parent: no matter what you dream or hope for your child, you will never have a bigger blessing for your family.
- Saint of the Day: St. Jerome, the great biblical scholar who spent 30 years producing the Latin Vulgate.
- Gospel reflection (Luke 9:57-62) from Fr. Nick Smith, pastor of St. Patrick's in Perry, on counting the cost of following Christ, whether you're called to the priesthood, religious life, or family life.
- Listener testimonials from parishes in Ames, West Des Moines, Adel, Sheridan, Urbandale, Ankeny, Waukee, and more.
