Bo and Deacon Mark then recap Iowa Catholic Radio's 12th annual Men's Stag at Country Lane Lodge. Heavy rain soaked the western metro that morning, but no one was turned away. About 60 tables were sold, 60 to 70 volunteers helped, and Knights of Columbus councils from across the metro pitched in. Deacon Mark explains that the event nets roughly 10% of the station's annual operating budget, but that the community it builds matters even more.
